I love when Fashion publications work with stylists do something totally unconventional and unexpected. As open as people are about sex today, we never see things like this... sure you see a boob flashed here and there and maybe a few full frontals if your reading high fashion mags like French Vogue or 10 . But never anything like this. This spread definitely caught my attention as it's pretty obvious what these models are doing. The bottom line is I like it! Not sure who styled it or who they are wearing since it's from Russian Vogue and I don't read Russian... but it's still awesome.
The ability to draw is definitely something I was born with... I never really tried to "learn to draw" and never really practiced with the purpose of getting better... I have always simply just done it! Some time ago when I decided that I wanted to make illustrating a career choice and that I wanted to share my work with others, with the help of my friend David started a website. After he started working on designing the site I immediately went into a drawing frenzy and this is one of the first Illustrations I did. I call it "Snakes of Lanvin" since she is wearing nothing but a Snake necklace by of course Lanvin! Oh and the python too lol. I love this illustration, she is somewhat of a modern day Medusa...
I'm not a huge fan of Gisele... All though she is a beautiful woman and undeniably hot, I go for a more exotic beauty. However, these shots of her in my opinion are beautiful. I think these are real, plain, gorgeous and capture her natural beauty. If I saw more shots of Gisele like this perhaps she would be one of my favorites! Perhaps it's just the styling that makes me favor her in these photos, nonetheless I think she looks great.
Always looking to see what V Magazine will do next. Their editorial shoots are nothing but innovative, they are always amazing and overflowing with sexiness... I am always looking for things that inspire me. While researching for a project I came across these amazing photos by photographer Carlos Nuñez and I instantly fell in love with his work. I love the way he captures the sensuality of a woman. It's not just fashion photography, it's more. His photos have a certain life and quality that I just can't explain. I love his use of lighting and the soft yet bright colors. His work is effortlessly beautiful and innocently sexy, at least I think so. I will most definitely keep an eye out for his work.
